Ramborn Cider Co. is the producer of the first Luxembourgish cider and has built a visitor’s and production center for Cider lovers in Born called “Ramborn Cider Haff”. The Ramborn Cider Haff was inaugurated in June 2017 and is an attractive, entertaining and trendy location to discover the world of Cider. At the Ramborn Cider Haff you can visits with local guides the old orchards as well as the production facilities. Multimedia technologies are used to explain the history, heritage and the process of making cider.
A circular economy approach was applied to the process of Cider making. Furthermore, the restoration of old traditional orchards and the planting of local varieties of apple and pear trees fits perfectly well with the various aspects of circular economy: the cider can be traced from growing the fruit to the final product.
On the international stage, Ramborn Cider Co. is promoting the Ramborn Cider Haff at professional events like CiderWorld in Frankfurt, Luxembourg days in Wisconsin, Prowein in Düsseldorf, Cider events in major cities (Rotterdam, Budapest, Berlin, Copenhagen etc.), Slow Food Days in Turin, CiderCon in Chicago and many more.
Ramborn Cider Haff’s visibility has been established so far that the two major upcoming cider books presenting the best ciders of the world will include Luxembourg as a destination.

Objectives of the project
The goal of the Ramborn Cider Haff is that the visitors become Ramborn Ambassadors who help to promote craft products and the production methods based on the circular economy applied by Ramborn.
During the first year, since June 2017, more than 3.000 visitors has discovered the Ramborn Cider Haff. Travellers are enabled to discover the history, culture and lifestyle of Luxembourg through the flavours of its cuisine and local products.
